Permissions Post

This is an OPT IN post for 'Can Kit read your character's mind if he has reason to try, and if so how much are you okay with him seeing?' It's canon that he learns to do it, but we never get a lot of details on how it works, so I'm trying to err on the side of 1) kit doesn't do it automatically or even often 2) isn't particularly talented at it and 3) it's mostly surface feelings and thoughts and nothing more involved unless you would like it to be for plot/CR reasons.

Canon Point: Sometime in between the two books, when Kit has recuperated and gotten some proper magic lessons from Deaucalion and started working on fixing the world but isn’t a fully fledged professional wizard yet. Let’s say six months after the end of Dark Lord of Derkholm.

History: Kit is from a playfully troperrific kitchen-sink fantasy world that has, unfortunately, been under the thumb of a greedy corporate business drone named Mr. Chesney for decades. Mr. Chesney is from a non-magic world, and runs ‘Pilgrim Party’ tours of ‘Fantasyland’, forcing the entire continent to perform a farce of the typical High Fantasy Arc every year, which is basically devastating their society on multiple levels.
